About Me

I grew up in a house full of sisters in the suburbs of Chicago. After 15 years in the corporate world, I landed at home full time to raise my children. I worked hard to make our home a place of calm, and to resist the chaos that can be part of modern life. Yet after living in 3 states and 7 houses, I found myself with a tsunami of belongings and the weight of responsibility that came with it. I was driven to minimize and simplify, but repeated attempts at corralling my things proved I did not have the tools for real change.

It wasn't until reading Japanese author Marie Kondo's best selling book, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up that I realized the solution to my problem. Not only did I succeed in clearing physical spaces, I reawakened to what I wanted in life, and suddenly had more time and energy to pursue it. I was so inspired by the Konmari philosophy that I joined one of the first Consultant workshops offered outside of Japan and became North Carolina’s first certified KonMari Consultant.

I believe that vibrant health, high energy, and balance are attainable, even in a world that asks for more and more. I am excited to help my clients bring more positive energy into their spaces and their lives. The potential for real transformation starts by putting your house in order.

“The space in which we live should be for the person we are becoming now, not for the person we were in the past.”
— Marie Kondo
